The Swing is, and will always be, the most fundamental and important part of kettlebell training, yet for many this routine is being made over complicated by erroneous and dangerous instruction.  Today Anthony responds to a question posted on our forum asking for proper instruction on the kettlebell swing.

Last week we introduced the kettlebell buddy - today Deb shows everyone how easy it is to use.  The Buddy, weighing 2kg is a transitional weight used to progress you to a heavier weight without having to jump 4kgs to the next kettlebell.  Check out the video below...it's also Debs first speaking roll - she was so nervous!

The next 2 dates are now available for the Art of Strength Kettlebell Certification.  On February 13th-15th and March 13th -15th we'll be hosting no more than 15 individuals looking to obtain the most sought after kettlebell certifications available.   What will your kettlebell weekend look like?  Starting on the 13th we all get to know each other over dinner and cocktails at the meet and greet, followed by the Art of Strength Punch Kettlebell Gym certification class on the 14th all ending with the business summit on the 15th where members of the National Fitness Business Alliance are on hand to help guide all those interested in owning a successful Punch Kettlebell Gym.
At our certification class we not only teach you all the essential kettlebell routines but we also teach you how to teach the routines to others.  For the Art of Strength the most important part of becoming a certified kettlebell instructor is making sure that if you're going to teach this art, you must be able to teach it properly.  The education and know-how is paramount and is something we take very seriously.  During the daylong event you will hear from some of our very own clients who owe not only their livelihood but in some cases their lives to the Art of Strength style of kettlebell training, you'll hear from Dr. Ron who will speak on the benefits of kettlebell training in a rehabilitative form and you'll also participate in "my first session" where you'll take newcomers to kettlebell training and teach them some of the routines that you learned that day.  The day will culminate in a session showing you how to take what you've learned and effectively integrate it into a workout all ending with one of our classic Punch Kettlebell Gym circuits.  Throughout the day you will also be exposed to our "Authentic Strength" fitness beliefs and practices, you'll learn our metabolic Ropes Gone Wild training as well as many of the other tools we incorporate into our day to day workouts.  For anyone serious about training, not just kettlebell training, but training in general this is an absolute can't miss event.  Learn what it's like to not only be on the forefront of a fitness revolution but be an integral part of the change.  Check out our certification page to see video testimonials as well as photos from some of our past events.

The New Year is just about upon us.  Only a couple of days remaining of 2008 and we're opening up the "floor" to anyone that would like to throw some suggestions our way.  Tell us what you would like to see from us in 2009.  Have some suggestions for minutes of strength, maybe some changes to the site, or even some DVD or product ideas.  Let us know and we'll do our best to make them happen in '09.
