The Dip and Switch
Resolution Part I
an overview
AOS Inspiration
getting cut with AOS

Today's Forum Topic has to do with the dip and switch, better known as the Alternating Clean. It's no wonder this routine gives so many people trouble, not only is it one of the most demanding kettlebell exercises to do it's also one of the more complex in movement. Here and Anthony and Kerry break down the routine to better explain this difficult and advanced move.

Resolution has become one of our top selling workouts as of late. This strength building routine has become a favorite of many of our Punch Kettlebell Gym members and for good reason. The point isn't to only move a specific amount of weight but it's to move that weight in a given amount of time, adding a metabolic twist to what would be an otherwise power workout.

Here's an email that came our way that we wanted to share with all of you. It's from Amir Karkouti. He wrote in to tell us about his experience and success with the AOS line of DVDs and workouts.

"My Name is Amir and I have been strictly kettlebelling and running for the past two years.
I used to be a big fan of the gym but I stopped going for what you will think is the most unusual reason. I would get sick with a cold or a flu 10 to 12 times a year. It got to a point where my doctor thought that I had an immune deficiency. After countless blood work and lab tests, they could not find anything wrong. One correlation I did find is; that the times I would stay away from the gym, I would be healthy for a long time. I soon realized that the gym was getting me sick with the Air conditioning blasting and all the sick people who continued to visit the gym and pass their virus to me.
So I had to find a way to work out without the gym. After trying out countless forms of workouts, nothing compared working out with dumbbells and barbells, so I thought. My buddy told me he started working out with something called Kettlebells, and so the first thing I did is google it. After countless websites, I gave Anthony's a try and ended buying the AOS Providence dvd. I fell in love with his training style and video format. I bought the rest of the videos and as they say, the rest is history. I bought each and every AOS video that Anthony would create. Each video was different in intensity and each video had countless new exercises. I ended up trying videos from other companies, but nothing flowed and motivated me like Anthony's AOS dvd's.
It has been two years since I have left the gym and I have gotten a cold maybe 2 or 3 times since. I am in the best shape of my life and my body feels like a spring. I owe so much to Anthony for his motivation, teaching style and videos. Its been long overdue for this letter and its time that Anthony receives the "thank you" he deserves.
For people who don't think you can get the work out body from kettlebells alone, I have included a picture from my last vegas trip. It does take alot of hard work and patience, but trust me it pays off big time in the end."
