Welcome to Dennis’ Weight Loss Blog, a place where you can go to check on my progress as I work towards shedding 55 pounds - going from 245 to 190.  For this I will be relying on mainly 2 methods, dieting and exercise.  The dieting is being done with Punch Nutrition by Bonnie and the exercise of course is kettlebell via Anthony Diluglio and Punch Kettlebell Gym.

So who am I?
I’m Dennis Driscoll and I’m Art of Strength’s creative director.  I handle all the graphics you see on the website, I create all the logo’s, t-shirts, the most recent DVD cover (Kettlebell Clinic Volume I) and I’m also the guy that brings you the newsletter every 2 weeks or so.

What are my hopes for this blog?
My initial intentions for this blog were as a means to keep myself motivated.  I felt if everyone could see my progress I would be less likely to fail or waiver in my efforts; it offers a sense of accountability.  With that said, I’ve discovered that my life and everything in it was motivation enough to keep me on track so my new hope for this blog is to possibly, even in the smallest way, motivate, inspire and encourage others to follow my path towards a healthy lifestyle.

Back on track. 
Most important thing i did this week...stayed true to the diet.  That's not to say that i wasn't before, it's just that if it was eating time i made sure i was eating, and if i was eating 8oz i made sure it was 8oz and not 8.5oz. 
It's very simple...if i don't lose this weight - i fail...the diet didn't fail and the workouts didn't fail but i failed.
i have roughly 15 pounds to go with 4 weeks left - this is going to be a very long month.
