Recently we’ve sent out videos profiling a downloadable or DVD workout.  Last week we brought you Providence with Staci and Lori and the week prior we sent you Resolution with Staci and Ann-Marie.  With so much positive feedback we thought we’d give you one more.  One of our most demanding and oddly enough most requested workouts at Punch Kettlebell Gym is the 1200.  Aptly named for the number of reps performed through the duration of the workout, our 1200 is both grueling, and at its completion, very rewarding.  Many of our members vividly remember the first time they were able to finish the entire routine. It’s definitely not a workout to be taken lightly, none of them are, but the 1200 is one of those workouts that gains respect for its share unadulterated toughness and mental taxation.  The 1200 will never defeat you, but it’ll find a way to make you give up - you defeat yourself.
In today’s video you’ll see Staci take Ann-Marie (of Resolution fame) and Renee (one of our Punch Gym regulars) through the 1200.  During the video Staci incorporates complimentary routines in place of some of the standard 1200 routines, “making it her own” as we say, something we encourage with our workouts.  That’s not to say you can substitute an exercise in place of one that you find too difficult or demanding, it means, taking like exercises (usually active rests) and substituting them for each other.  In the video you’ll see them switch out snatches for push presses and Ropes Gone Wild.
If you think this is the kind of workout you’d like to take part in head over to your nearest Punch Kettlebell Gym where you’ll see these and many of our other workouts in action everyday.  With more and more Punch Kettlebell Gyms opening it’s only a matter of time before you find one right around the corner.  Get in one today and experience our workouts the way they were meant to be – in your face and out loud.
