Video of the week: the pro series kettlbell long cycle clean & press
This week, Anthony continues his look at the "pro style" of kettlebell lifting. You'll notice a focus on efficiency and smoothness. This kind of training allows you to workout for extended periods to build up tremendous volume.
Enter the kettlebell Workbook, 2nd Edition... now in hardcopy!
Over the past year, lots of folks have asked for a hardcopy version of our ETK Workbook. Lots of folks just don't trust computers and prefer to hold actual paper in their hands. If that's you, go ahead and choose the new hardcopy version in our store. It is spiral bound to lie flat and will help you get through ETK with no thinking!

Watch out for pirated AOS products
We were recently tipped off to some counterfeit AOS DVDs for sale on eBay. To easily spot a fake, just flip the DVD over and look at its reflective side. It should be a uniform silver color indicating professional reproduction. If you see any other colors or rings of different colors, the product is a fake. Also, the artwork on the face should be printed directly to the surface of the DVD. The counterfeit DVDs feature stick-on labels printed from an inkjet printer.
We contacted the eBay seller, and he claimed to have originally purchased the DVD at a flea market. In this case, the seller agreed to refund the purchase. In most cases, the buyer will probably be stuck. We do not currently sell any of our products on eBay, so be very careful when considering such a purchase.

Start your own online training log and become a Synner

You need to keep a training log. If you don't have one, you are planning to fail. There are a lot of strong, fit, smart, and interesting people out there. Many of them are willing to help if you give them the opportunity. If you hide your notebook away in your gym bag, you are not giving them the opportunity. I recommend you give blogging a try.
If you don't fill in your training log for each workout, you may as well not waste your time. So, what happens when you forget your notebook or you don't have access to the computer you want to use? With a blog, those limitations don't exist. Any scrap of paper is your notebook and any computer connected to the internet is your computer. It's great that you wrote down your workout… but it means absolutely nothing if you never look at it. What did you do last week, a month ago, a year ago, or on that cold day in December '05? Search boxes are a great thing. With a few key strokes you can answer those questions and a lot more.
TrainingSyndicate.com is a website devoted to training logs. It is my goal to help readers and writers of training logs get more circulation. For writers, I offer free syndication to anyone who would like it. Your material is still yours to do with as you will. By syndicating it here, I will simply help you get more readers. That means more people to read your log and comment, to read your log and motivate, and more people to provide constructive criticism. We all write our logs for different reasons, but we all publish them to get read. Some of us want to get read to share our views, to get rich and famous, to hear from others on how we are doing, or even just to be part of a community. TrainingSyndicate.com is here for all those reasons!
To readers I offer a similar service. TrainingSyndicate.com offers you a “one stop shop” for as many training logs as you care to read. It is your chance to read up on your favorite blogger or a training partner. It’s also a chance to read about something you have never tried or thought to try.
To get started as a reader all you need to do is head back to the front page and read away. If you know how to use an RSS feed, feel free to subscribe and follow from your desktop. If you want to get started as a logger (or a “Synner” as we call it here-- one who is syndicated) all you need is a weblog with an RSS feed. If you already log using any of the popular blog software, you have this. If you don’t have a blog, it’s time to get started.
You can use any service. One of the easiest and most popular is blogger. I also offer a service for hosting Wordpress blogs here at Training Syndicate. Once you have a blog (or if you want to set one up), just email me with your contact info and I’ll get you added in. Let me help you become a Synner!
