  • Video of the week: kettlebell getup situp

The kettlebell getup situp is a wonderfully brutal core drill guarenteed to fry your abs.  Visually impressive and easy to learn, this is a great drill to help you work up to a full Turkish Getup.

New AOSX video workout... get it free!
Our first AOS eXpress workout, Smokin' Ladders, debuted to rave reviews in late January.  The 2nd workout in the AOSX series, AOSX Elevation, is now available.

The AOSX workouts are immediately downloadable and consist of a short, thorough instructional video and a pdf workbook that you can print out and tape to your favorite corner of the garage.  These workouts are fully tested with real clients at Punch Kettlebell Gym to ensure a fun yet demanding experience.  Looking for a new workout to try?  Purchase an AOSX workout and you'll be sweating as soon as you click "download."

AOSX Elevation is made up of 3 rounds with 2 superset drills per round.  The drills are easy enough for beginners but will be refreshing for advanced users, too.

    Get AOSX Elevation for free!
You can't buy Elevation yet.  It will be for sale in our online store for $19.95 on Monday, March 19.  Until then, we are offering it to Minute of Strength readers at no cost.  We're looking to spread the word on AOS and kettlebell training and can use your help with this grassroots effort. Just head on over to our homepage, enter the emails of 4 buddies to share the offer with, and it's yours! This offer ends Friday, March 18 at midnight (EST).  Click here for details.

AOS reviews: the gymboss workout timer
    Purchase the Gymboss Interval Timer

Short, sweet, and to the point:  We LOVE this timer.

The Gymboss timer is a small clip-to-your-waistband timer that is perfect for timing any kind of workout.  You can set it for a single recurring countdown, or you can easily set it up for a recurring workout countdown followed by a different rest period countdown.  Set it and forget it!  Boxing work/rest rounds?  No problem!  Tabata intervals... sure!

The device is extremely small and lightweight.  I wouldn't drop a kettlebell on it, but it seems quite durable.  Our favorite feature is the buzzer/beeper.  You can have the timer beep at the end of each countdown... or you can set this puppy to vibrate!  No more looking at the clock, no more glancing at your watch, and no more manually setting a kitchen egg timer!

Get the Gymboss today.  I'd spend $100 for this thing, but it sells for $19.95.  We rate it a full 10 out of 10!
