I have seen it all. I've been teaching fitness and martial arts since 1980. In the last few years, this idea of "kettlebell training" kept catching my eye. In particular, I became a fan of Anthony DiLuglio's Art of Strength training system, DVDs, and website.

A distant relative from Rhode Island, Chris, contacted me last year with some fitness questions. He said he didn't have time to workout but really needed to get back into shape and lose some weight. I enthusiastically told him how great kettlebells are, how fast and intense the workouts are, and said, "You have got to go to Anthony's Punch Kettlebell Gym in Providence!" 

Chris lost 30 lbs in just a few months. He called me with the good news and was gushing about kettlebells. At the same time, Anthony's clients in New York City had been asking him to open a local Punch location. Chris told Anthony about me and the connection was made. Anthony and I got together, hit it off, and immediately started planning for Punch NYC.

Since my teen years, I was drawn to mental and physical challenges:
The Marine Corps for structure and discipline, a black belt in Jow-Ga Kung Fu for being focused, high intensity strength training for serious strength and bodybuilding for lookin' goooood (wink, wink).  Kettlebells combine all these benefits into one deceptively simple, dynamic, and effective art.  I've been in the fitness trenches for over 20 years and am convinced that kettlebells are the most effective, time efficient and fun way to reach your fitness goals.
