Corrective Strategies - The Anatomy of the Turkish Get-up is the culmination of years of training clients through what many would believe to be impossible drills, in terms of their level of abilities.  I've found through the years that trainers and physical therapists will often skip certain exercises or routines simply because they find it outside the range of a person's movement.  I've always believed in finding ways to enable someone to perform an exercise efficiently and safely without risk to themselves, regardless of their injury or condition.  One of the ways I analyze someone's conditioning and ability to perform the routine is by putting them through the routine itself.  From that I can gain an understanding of their breakdowns, if they have any, and compile a list of corrective strategies with the eventual outcome being that person performing the intended routine.  By its nature the Turkish Get-up lends itself perfectly as a corrective strategy because it puts the user through every possible movement pattern.  For this reason we use the Turkish Get-up almost exclusively for gauging ones movement range.
